here is the situation:
I have a fedora linux server on a T1 line ( T1 belongs to a 501c3, I don't pay a penny, they use it for their office)
specs:
PII 350MHz
160MB ram
4 GB space in web directory
lets say I would offer 25-50MB storage 1GB bandwidth a month only HTML.

Do you think I could get lots of costumers, with such a bad deal?
Once I made enough money, I would switch to a real datacenter.

Should I give it a try, or do you think it's not even worth while?

thanks
and please no bad comments about the crappy server specs.

It should work for html only pages. Although when the number of people hosted grows it might be a little slow.

Well, most people these days will start asking for features such as PHP, MYSQL etc. It's that kind of world today. But yes it will work for just html/images.
