I posted this to kind of see my relative position against other webmasters.

How many page views per month does your site get? I'm not saying hits, as hits counts images viewed, etc, but I'm saying pages, such as html, php, etc.

I got 156,000 in February, but seeing how things are going right now, 240,000 this month. :)

I am going to get 240,000+ pages viewed this month for my forum, but 90% of my site is my forum.

sure, so far this month I have 100,000 page views. forums.krazyletter.com is my forum :)

Too many people frequent it just for the arcade...trying to make them post.

Woah, someone voted 1,000,000+, who did that?

How many people did you have in February? I looked now, and your Alexa (granted Alexa isn't perfect) stats for the past two months haven't been that great (I have sites with better ratings), but your rank for February was in the top 5000!! Did you do some sort of special advertising campaign or something then, and did you have more viewers then because that is what Alexa is showing me!

I got digged in february.

I know my Alexa stats aren't that great, but then again most of our users use Firefox and do not have the Alexa toolbar, or play in our arcade from school or work.

Alexa is useless and information regarding it shouldn't be acknowledged or taken seriously...

Umm... Only getting around 20,000 a month.

Edit: Are we talking unique hits here or pageviews because thats a whole different story.

I belive the poll says "page views", and I am talking about page views.

Then I change my original answer from 20,000 to around 150,000.

Aww, when I got 340,000 page views, I only got 16,000 visits, and 9,000 unique visitors.

There is no clear way or guide. There are two ways to be succesful. One is to find a nice niche and grow from that. The other way is to spend a whole ton of money in startup and explode yourself as a big contendor right off the bat. 99% of business' do one of the two IMO.

I grew for around 2 years, but recently my site has been growing quickly. 500,000+ pages this month :)

I was getting about 987k views a month back when my site was more active (keep in mind I'm just talking about a blog) and I was getting about 18k unique hits a month.

Update for me;

My current site is doing around 750k-2m hits per month.

However I'm starting to dislike the amount of people who use adblock plus :(

I have been open since December 23, 2007 and i have had 166 Unique visits so far. At that rate, i would have 868 Visits per month. That is just starting out, Im sure some of the "BIG NAMES HOSTS" get that in 1 day :D

50,000 - 100,000 at the moment. But, I have a feeling it will increase way beyond that in the coming months. :)

It is very achievable. You offer a good hosting plan, and should have no trouble reaching that level of traffic. :)
