Let me start out by introducing myself, my name is Drew and I am a 15 year old tv producer with big dreams. I am currently working on a TV show, which will be shown on the Internet and a local community access station. I don’t look at this project as a everyday community access production since my goal is to some day attempt to have it picked up bye a network, I am doing EVERYTHING professional and bye the book.

Now the show is called NewAgeHockey and is geared towards teens and young adults. We focus on exposing the less glamorous, down to earth side of hockey. Our sponsors are not generating any income they simply help to promote us and the Carolina Hurricanes will be allowing us to shoot film of there players, and helping us with promoting the show. I currently have a dedicated server with 1.4 TB of bandwidth, but from the way things look I fear this will not be enough due to the size of the videos and downloads already of the sample videos. I still have a lot of kinks to work out but things look to be VERY interesting!

If you have some bandwidth to spare and are looking for some unique promotions this is what you have been looking for! I am also looking for some coders that would be willing to help code the video player interface. If your at all interested please send me a email drew@newagehockey.com

Any feedback if greatly appreciated,
Drew

host your videos on youtube or some other video hosting site, that way they foot the bandwidth bill

I have thought about it, but then I have the professional factor… would it look good for a tv show to use youtube. :-/

for a professional factor...buy a server! 1.4tb b/w is a hell of a lot. do you really need that much? how big are the videos?

All i have to say is you are in a free hosting forum wher emost of the people offer 1gig max. Now, statistically looking at it, your asking for a unmetered 10mbit. It is very cheap now a days to buy it. Safe yourself the trouble of asking someone to give up one of their dedicated boxes for a measly banner. I will give you a dedicated box if you are over 500,000 hits a day on your tv show. hell, even 500,000 a month. Just because i could easily turn that into 5 boxes. But, i feel your situation is not there yet. Save my information and let me know when you have an audience. Or contact me if you do.
