Default Starting a Free Hosting Company
I know that there are many threads on this, but I have a few certain specific questions.

1. Which ad company (eg: Google Adsense, Clicksor, etc.) is the most profitable?

I have a free reseller account that I won off of eBay several months ago that I use for a couple of my sites. The uptime has been decent (97.711%) over 3 months. The majority of the downtime was from April (my first month). May has come and gone and my sites have been up 98.194% of the time. So far in June, my sites have been up for 99.597%. I think the hosting service I use is quite reliable. Here's the catch: I pay $8.50 a month for unmetered space and bandwidth.

2. I know I can add more cPanel accounts and was wondering what type of hosting I should do. Should I just have paid accounts, free accounts, or both? I have a lot of cPanel and WHM experience and am proficient in PHP & MySQL. (I have my Oracle 9i certification.)

3. If you think I should go with free, what should software should I run my site off of? Should I run phpNuke? Any suggestions?

Thanks in advance for all your comments, opinions, and suggestions. Your time and efforts are much appreciated.

well before you get into thinking about doing free hosting i would ask your provider if they allow it as all unmetered host have some type of limit they don't tell you about.

I think I have enough space until the hard disk is full. I'm not worried too much about space. I'm trying to keep it small...not too many accounts. Also, I think I'll limit it to American IP addresses only.

Not quite...at least not now. I have the summer off...and during the school year I go to a competitive tech school & I can easily get the underclassman to help me out in exchange for a hosting account...Thanks for the offer though.

How old are you? Where are you from? (You don't have to post this here if you don't want to. You can PM it to me.)
