Hello,

I purchased XPanel before 20 days.
I am trying to install since last 5 days, but still i am not able to make it complete.

I thought, it is better to get review of XPanel installation from experienced..
Is there anyone who has installed/used XPanel?

Big trouble is there is no documentation given on How to install XPanel. They provide install_xpanel.pl file, but it is not working on my case (RHEL4). Support is not coming anywhere. There is no words on steps to install/configure XPanel.
All this happens after paying $99. If it is the rule that $30 installation charges is compulsory, why to sell Heart in $100 & each leg at $1. Is there extra cost for glue to fix leg on the body?

XPanel & Ipanel both are similar type of products, i thought, it would be better to select XPanel based on some testimonial site list given on www.xpanel.com

I welcome your comments on experience of XPanel.

Xpanel is an excellent product that requires strong knowlege of linux. There is an excellent manual for installation in the docs directory. It is by no means a perfect program but for what it does, $99 is a small price to pay. I have paid much more for other web applications with even less support.

Actually, i had looked all at /usr/local/xpanel & /var/www/xpanel which are created by xpanel installation script.

I am happy after looking manual.html file. Doc folder contains manual file & it is showing all steps. I have completed installation as shown there.

It would be a good to put Note in install_xpanel.pl file that Read docs under.... Or atleast showing link for the doc file on XPanel site.

Everythink is ok on installation now. (unless i would configure & test each function).

I have installed it with steps followed from xpanel121/docs/manual.html file.
Suggestion: It is great to have a link on XPanel forum,-- which can show Docs.

I stayed on xpanel 1.21 --- as not much confident about 1.3. (Filemanager is in upgrade stage).

1.21 works fine.
