Question Asian Traffic
Hello,

I am new to this forum and I look foward to becoming an active member of this forum.

I run my own free web hosting company and I have decided I would like to block all asian traffic before things get out of control.

I wanted to do that using .htaccess

Code:
Deny from 221.
Deny from 220.
Deny from 219.
Deny from 58.
Deny from 222.
Deny from 221.
Deny from 60.
Deny from 211.
Deny from 218.
Deny from 203.
Deny from 202.
Deny from 61.
Deny from 210.
I hear that
Code:
Deny from 210.
will block Australians from accessing. Is there any others that I should be concerned about? Is the IP address that starts with 210 only Australians so that way I don't have to block it?

ASIAN TRAFFIC

Thank you for your time,

Justin

And I forgot to mention that doing that with .htaccess will disable all of my users:

domainname.com/username

From having asian traffic as well.

In the .htaccess, how do I disable the asian views from seeing my main site.

home/myftpusrename/domainname.com/

and enable them to view users sites

home/myftpusername/domainname.com/myuserssites

Also, how do I redirect that asian traffic?

Thanks,

Justin

Block them at your firewall.

Anything but the firewall leaves open ports for them to access. Just make sure your ssh, ftp and other open ports are secure.
