Default Evaluating Chinese traffic
Hi all, I have been managing my free hosts for about 1 year now and have managed to maintain a decent level of profitability. So far, I have not had any restrictions on country but am starting to evauluate if I should stop supporting a few and am looking for input about what others have experienced.

Like many other free hosts, I am sure most of our income comes from PPC advertising. It appears recently that many PPC advertising companies are starting to limit which countries their ads support. I have confirmed 2 so far. Yahoo and Clicksor. Clicksor requires >50% of US, GB and canadian or you will automatically be canceled. I am not sure what google or adbrite does. I do know PPA does not appear to work well with foreign traffic, chinese users don't make purchases.

My current traffic makeup is more than 56% chineese.
Any usefull suggestions will be greatly appreceated.

I had more than 50% of my accounts from China like you...but after awhile I was fed up with the abuse. So I cancelled all their accounts and blocked signups from that country. My profits did not change and since then they have risen. Although Google does pay for any country, most of the ads were in english...so it was worthless. I say it's not worth it.

As long as your site is secure I see no problem with them. You are of course going to make less per person, but as long as you are still profiting from them I see no problem.
