I am thinking if putting some google ad-sense ads on some free hosting accounts that I have provided. But I am afraid of my account being banned by someone who over-clicks!
What if someone, keeps on clicking and Google takes it as fraud clicking and bans my account? What are the chances of this happening?

I don't think you can get in trouble if too many people click on your ads, they would send a warning before they cancel your account.

Nope, there is no warning. You just get shut down.
The chances of this happening are slim to none, but you never know.

haha slim to none, google has done it to one large free host i know, they just cut this months current montly earnings and refunded the $2000 to the advertisers because one day the clicks went very high.
Its almost impossible to catch, blocking china helps.

Take a look at it from google stand point if all of the sudden your click through rate doubles or triples it does look weird.

Exactly thats what I am worried about! :( What if someone keeps clicking just to harass me? I have heard people boasting about doing it!!

if it happens, you get banned, nothing you can do really unless you pay for an 3rd party program to monitor ip's who click

You do get a warning before they cancel your account.
I cheated and clicked my own ads and I got caught. They sent a warning saying I can't click my own ads but I didn't listen.
Needless to say my adsense account got shut down.

It happened to me.
MY adsense income was $500+ a day.
About 1 week ago I wake up and bam! My adsense account is shut down.
Reason? I was a victim of click-attack. (When one of members intentionally clicks lots of time to get your adsense account banned).
And guess what? I can't ever participate in Adsense again.
My advice:
DO NOT EVER put adsense on your free host account because it's practically inevitable that you'll have your adsense account closed too. It's so predictable that it's no big deal almost.
And right now I'm looking for alternatives to adsense. haven't found anything as good.

I once had a business in which I was getting overclicking (partially my fault, the way I set up the ads), and a Google spokesperson told me that was my only warning and they were going to disable google from that domain name, but I could still keep my account. So from my experience it isn't that horribly bad.

i think you need to monitor your sites and make sure they are not hosting porn, warez etc on daily basis. You can't just create new accounts, put ads on them and just check your adsense earnings.

It was an example if a host has banned me with a stupid reason, I will overclick the ads as a revenge.

luis123456, you're a compelte 12 year old like idiot.
If a host bannes you, you probably violated their TOS. If not, they you contact them
and they resolve your situation.
"as revenge", you'll be ****ing up thousands of peoples lifes, because what happens if
the host can no longer support itself due to having account banned. They go down
and so do thousands of innocent members.
I hate people who think like you. It's all about you. And honestly if I had a wish, I'd
exterminate all people like you from the planet because they're the ones who make
the world a frustrating place sometimes to live in.
If you ran a business you'd do everything in order to pretect it's status. And what
if you banned someone, and they did revenge on YOU!!!
You don't know who it is. Yea that's right. Feel how shit you'll feel.

Pretty true! I recently got a notice from the big-daddy Micro$oft that some site was hosting illegal stuff that violated their copyrights. I had to instantly suspend the account to save myself.
So similar things may happen even with adsense. I may violate their terms by mistake and lose the extra revenue.

I do not put google ads on user pages but last week I received the dreaded email from google. I have been dropped from the adsense program and they do not even say why. All that was mentioned was that there were invalid clicks which violated their tos. Since I am not able to use the adsense program anymore, I am not afraid to say that this was worth several thousand of dollars per month and will be greatly missed. All I can think of is a disgrunteled user did it.
Oh Well.

There we go. I even said (earlier on in this thread) that putting Adsense on free hosting or similar model websites will INEVITABLY get you suspeneded permanently.
I'm innocent just as you are peterz. Even sent them email and followup. They just reply: "Sorry but we determined that those clicks did indeed come from you".
WFT!
I have since tested: BidVertiser, Adbrite, Clicksor, Oxygen, and tons more.
Best ones in terms of income they bring: BidVertiser, Adbrite, Clicksor
Trust me. I tried them all. So save your time on testing it out yourself.
