I am requesting a free dedicated server, fully managed. I will be using it host counter-strike games so speed is essential. A fair ammount of bandwidth (500 GB per month) should be included. No webhosting panel is needed but a license to a game server control panel would be nice.
PM me offers.

Folks, the purpose of this site is to allow people offering and seeking free hosting the ability to communicate, as that avenue isn't on WebHostingTalk.com.
The purpose is NOT to have people bashing other people's requests.
If you are not a provider of free hosting, why bother even responding in this thread; this forum for that matter.
While it may seem outlandish to you that someone would ask for this, it is his right to do so and he need not be bashed for it. If no one responds with offers for him, he will probably be able to figure out that the request may not be fulfilled.
Yes, this thread/forum is off to a bad start, but not because of the request but by the beating he has taken from others here. That will only, in turn, discourage legitimate participation in these threads.
We won't be removing his request or other requests for free hosting no matter how out-of-the-world you may think the request is. It is not our duty nor yours to police that.

Ryan, I do agree with you there, however why was my post removed? I simply asked what he could offer in return. Is that not a reasonable question? Should us hosts expect absolutely nothing in return for giving services?
While we do not advertise free dedicated servers on our site (and I don't know many who do) we have given a sponsored server in the past to a large game which has worked out quite well.

Steve, honestly I don't think he went through each reply and made a judgement call on each one. He wiped the slate clean and then told us to cool it.
Not a bad idea really.

I think there should be at least SOME sort of threshold on ridiculous requests, you have to admit that much :|

Who is to judge what is rediculous and what isn't? Not me. Not you.
Who knows. Maybe NicRack will find someone who loves gaming and goes into some sort arrangement with him.

Nick contact me in about 1 month's time and we can work something out. I have done this a few times with past friends and always worked out with no problems.
