What Hosts Do You Use?
What dedicated server providors do you use? Currently the past two dedicated server hosts have shut me down, and the one I'm with is demanding a $250/incident charge.
What dedicated server providor is *fairly* lenient with hosting. I'm alright if they shut me down until the issue is resolved. Currently I have yet to find such a host.
Can you guys recommend one that doesn't kick you off, or charge ridiculous fines?

I used Servstra and they disconnected me because of phishing complaints. Also have you run a free hosting business with them? That is the question I am asking: what dedicated server companies do (preferably with over 1,000 accounts) free hosting companies use?

I currently run my free web host through them they have great support. I have over 1,000 accounts... 1,832 to be exact(well ok there not all active ). I got one phishing complaint but the matter got solved quickly!
Maybe you could try http://www.layeredtech.com/ they use the same datacenter/servers as servstra.com .... servstra is a reseller of layeredtech.

I am considering going with layeredpanel (since my past two dedicated server providors have been resellers for them). I just submitted a ticket asking them on their phishing penalties. I really like their deals, and the provide a semi-managed service (which is good enough for me).
The issue with Servstra was they were great the first couple of times, but after 4 or 5 they told me to leave (which is a very low percentage considering I have xx,xxx accounts)

I may end up moving to them soon because servstra had recently removed some of there higher end servers.

From what I know,
http://theplanet.com won't do that. I have heard that people send abuse reports and stuff to them and often nothing ever happens. They're huge.
Could also try everyones internet.

can't see how they'd shut you down for something like that, if that statement is true as well.

I'll have to look into theplanet, as that is something that looks very promising for a free hosting site
ev1.net seems like they only do shared hosting. Am I missing something?
Also hostfree: Did layeredtech give you a warning, or did they ask for you to take action against them?

I think the only major thing that will get you shut down at layeredtech is for email spamming. I've been with them for almost a year and haven't had any complaints.
