Default Is an advertising solution needed for free hosts
Dear FWT Members,

I was looking around the internet and found that there is no ads company (like adsense, adbrite, clicksor, etc.) that is sepcially targeting the niche market of free webhosts.

Thus, I got an idea to start one (but only if I get support from this and other communities).

The site would be something similar to adsense and clicksor but it would be necessary that a publisher could be only a free web hosting company. Using ads from that network will boost revenue for free hosts (avoiding oogle restrictions and complaints) and should give a steady flow of cash to publishers.

Also if someone have any idea that how to get advertisers into that network and can remommend me a good FREE/PAID script to do the job.

Thanks

What would set them apart is that only free hosts would be publishers and it would have such a target audience. I don't know however if this could be great in practical terms however. I get a $2 CPM with AdSense, and I see no way that your smaller company could get me that high of a CPM. The reason is most people don't want to advertise on a free host. I think that you would be lucky to get a $0.50 or $1 CPM. I know that Google does a perfect job looking at my keywords, and gives me incredibley relevant ads. All of my ads are for companies like "GoDaddy" or "AFMU's Free Hostig Package" and other stuff that my free hosting users probably want or would like.
So how would you get a lot of advertisers?
and
How would you get them to get us a $2+ CPM?

Personally, I would not use something like this. We've been very happy with AdBrite (so far <fingers crossed>) and they're serving our needs very well.

We had plans on developing our own network like this but not just for the niche of freehosting as you will not get many that will offer to pay. Our terms of service though would allow for free hosts and not be as strict as those of say google or yahoo.

We thought of doing it another mehtod though rather then cpm using per impressions as there is a definit decrease in click fraud as users are paying for the impressions and not the actual clicks.

If you are interested in this shoot me a PM and we can discuss this some more and maybe team up.
