what are the places you advertise/how do you spread the word about your sites/services?

I am finding advertising a little difficult lately... I go to a couple boards, but basically it feels like going around in circles.

Filehigh.com has inexpensive text ads that provide a good CTR. Also, Craigslist has worked well for me in the past.
