I am posting to make certain the other forum members understand how you operate.
Cyber Networx - Free Hosting Terms of Service - January, 2007
Opening an Account
To be eligible for hosting, you must be able to contribute to the Cyber Networx community. You must be atleast 14 years of age to apply for hosting.
Applying for an Account
Use the "Free Hosting Request Template", and all information is required! The registration process can take upto 72 hours, however, usually only takes no less than an hour. Also, do not copy another users request and only one (1) account allowed per person!
Posting Requirements
You must remain active in the Cyber Networx Community in order to request a webspace or bandwidth upgrade. We will determine your upgrade depending on your current status in the community. Free hosting is available up to 300 MB's webspace, five (5) GB's bandwidth, and 3x of each feature, and paid hosting is available thereafter.

By using your own domain, you agree to add our text link to the footer of each page of your website. This also applies to any and all addon and parked domain names.

We will also note, when required to have the text link, you may not have any other form of advertisement within your footer.
You must have the required link in the footer of each page within 72 hours of account activation.
Activity
You have seven (7) days from the time of activation to have some sort of activity to your hosting account. If there is no activity within that time, your account will be terminated, and you can request hosting again at anytime in the future.
Activity is defined as uploading data, including folder creation, to your account. We will manually check your account for data transfer, or folder creation, after seven (7) days.
We will require you to check-in monthly to verify you are still actively using your account. You will be contacted when that time arrives, and you have 72 hours from that time to respond. You must respond within that time or your account will be suspended. When your account is suspended, you will have 72 hours from the time of suspension to respond before account termination.
Functionality
You must have a functioning website in order to keep your hosting account active. You may not use your account strictly for file hosting, storage purposes or as a redirect to another website.
Content
Website content that is against Cyber Networx policy or supports illegal activities will result in instant termination of your account. In other words, you will lose any and all work you've put into your website.
Spam
Do not send mass email messages to people whom you do not know from your Cyber Networx account. For every one (1) message we find you send, we will charge a 1.00 USD fee to your account, and it will be turned over proper authorities for collection.
Prohibited Scripts
• Pirated software
• Torrent files or scripts
• File Sharing Applications
• IRC programs or scripts of any kind
• Proxy server scripts and programs
• Hacker programs or archives
• Hacks, cracks, or patches
• Warez sites
Files
MP3, MPG and DivX files are not permitted on your webspace, for reason of copyright infringement.
Support
If you are questioning something, feel free to ask someone on the staff. If you don't, and something goes wrong, it's then all your responsibility.
Backup and Files
Although, we do make regular backups, it is solely your responsibility to backup your own data. Cyber Networx will not be held responsible for the loss of your data.
Upgrades
We can usually accommodate feature upgrades. However, webspace and bandwidth upgrades will be made depending on your current usage and community activity.
Abuse
If you're found to have hacked another users webspace or website, you're account will be terminated, and your information will be forwarded to local authorities for investigation. Hacking is not a joke, and will not be taken lightly.
Cyber Networx Community
Use common sense! If you question whether something is allowed to be posted, then don't post it! If you cannot contribute to the community, as you've been banned, we will have no other option than to suspend or terminate your hosting account.
Contact Information
Your contact information must be correct! We have no other way of contacting you, and we will suspend your account, if your contact information is found to be false.
Advertising
You are not allowed to have your own ads. The money that you're making for advertising should be put toward paid hosting services.
Required Files
Do not change nor delete any files that were created with your webspace and hosting account. If found to be tampered or deleted, your account will be terminated.
Account Termination and Cancellation
Cyber Networx reserves the right to decline your hosting request for any reason. Cyber Networx will terminate your account immediately, if you violate any of the above information or anything we may see unfit for the company. However, in any other given situation, we will give a seven (7) day notice. If you're wanting to cancel your current hosting account, simply request your account be deleted in this support community.
Important
We will suspend your account for a minor Terms of Service violation, such as not applying the link back to our services when using your own domain. You will have 72 hours from account suspension to make the required changes or your account will be terminated. However, we will terminate your service, no questions asked, for a major Terms of Service violation, such as pirated software or proxy.
By applying for hosting, you agree to all current Terms of Service, as well as any changes in the future.

Can you name one single host that hasn't changed their Terms of Service at one point or another? One? Next, it would be bad practices to change the Terms of Service, and never even let the users know, and suspend their account for TOS violation. But, instead, I chose to make it known, thus giving each user plenty of time to remove them.
Like I've stated, you can (a) keep our free service and lose the ads or (b) pay for service, and you're more than welcome to place them.
