how would you monetize it?
We have a client that has a fast growing free Image hosting service. He is getting now 100,000 views a month. He is using Google , but we think that there may be a better way ie banners? popunders?
Any body have good and real life experience and suggestion?

Maybe try AdBrite (http://www.adbrite.com/), formerly MarketBanker. I think you'll get more CPM or PPC than AdWords (at least, I used to when it was MarketBanker - haven't tried them since they switched names/ownership).
Google is one of the fastest way to generate decent revenue so just stick to it. You might want to throw in a CPM campaign though.

He is starting with Google but though that coupled with a CPM he coul ddo many time better.
What would make you say so? 100k page views is actually not extremely a lot. It's just page views, not 100k visitors. I would gauge a reasonable revenue to be around $100/mth for a 100k page views website for just Google alone.

No, 100k is not alot , but it is growing. In fact it is growing so fast he has not had time to get any money from google yet.
Do other think that $100 per 100.000 pageviews is a reasonable gauge?
Orin - How long has your site been up and where is it?
Can u give us some stats on it ( not financial) but # of pics, bandwidth used, etc.
Thanks,

Thats 1$/cpm . and thats good i think .. If you can find some place where you could get higher than 1$/cpm would be better but most cpm companies pay you for unique and in 100000 pageviews i think rougly 10% or less would be unique
Your CPM rate depends on the quality of traffic. If most of your traffic is from asia, then your CPM will be very low (below $0,1/CPM), if your traffic is from US and UK, then it will be much higher.
