Hi all!
An offer for anyone who might be interested out there.
Basically I have had experience with the webhosting industry since 2003 and worked for numerous hosting sites. Specifically, I set up my own free webhosting site at the end of 2003 and this continued successfully into 2006 until it migrated into paid hosting and it was sold off.
I can provide the URL of this (you'll have to waybackmachine it though!).
I have experience with linux servers and basic management of it, as well as excellent knowledge of cPanel/WHM, and good knowledge of all the other control panels.
I am looking to get back into the free hosting again, but a bit stuck on money and affording the server!
Basically, looking for a partner who could provide the server, maybe a bit of help etc and I would manage the free hosting. Already got a few ideas for the domain. And would be forum sign up based to begin with (that will sort out the bad stuff!).
Profits could be made through adsense (and split directly down the middle etc) as well as through additional schemes that could be introduced such as as "text" extras where a member could text to a premium line and receive more space for that month etc.
Many more ideas as well.
OR... if you ran a US free webhost and wanted to come across the pond (I am UK based) that could be set up as well with my help etc.
Basically... anyone remotely interested, please feel free to contact me, either through PM or Windows Live Messenger!
Any questions, do ask!
Thanks!

Hi there,
I just use www.sjlfreehosting.info (http://www.sjlfreehosting.info) they are free and you get loads with them such as 250MB of space, 3 My SQL Data bases and auto loading scripts on there server.
They are free and I have had no problem with them at all..:)

So.. your unlucky "partner" will pay for the server, yet only get 50% of the profit?? you crazy? no one would do that.

Well, the byet kids who have been to lazy to customise their sites. Don't tar us all with the same brush, some of us can be bothered to design.
