Hello,

I want to create a small business site, with oscommerce, but I need a free host, since for now I only want it to see if it is worthily or not. So I need a host service:
- free
- Ad-free
- MySQL
- PHP
- PHP safe mode: On
- FTP Access
- Email services
- at least 1 domain
- cPanel
- But most off all that suports Oscommerce;

Thank’s

I can offer you that, but PHP Safe Mode is turned Off.

I host sites for free because I like too, and I like to help some people out, I make no money from it. There are No ads placed on your site, and no forum posting. It's at www.LevelUpHost.com

My plan has:
500 Megs Space/10Gigs a Month Bandwidth/cPanel11 with Fantastico
PHP, Perl/CGI, SSI, MySQL
FTP and E-Mail Accounts
I can host you on a subdomain or a domain if you have one.

I haven't really had any experience with OSCommerce, but it can be installed with Fantastico. Too test that it would work fine I did a test install, you can see it at www.leveluphost.com/oscommerce/

So if you want to sign up, just go to www.leveluphost.com and get the info. And I've recently launched Level Up Host, but I've been reliably hosting sites for free for over a year. Again, I cam offer what you requested, except PHP Safe Mode is turned Off.

What would you think of non-intrusive ads you could place and customize yourself?

I prefer not to have them, I’m willing to have a link in the page but a discrete one, and placed in the bottom of the page.

You can pretend you placed them yourself. They will look just like a links bar - there is only 4 88x31 buttons - and they link to related websites. So your visitors certainly wont get the impression you have to place them, your site appearance wont be any lower, and the might actually help your visitors.

What is it you are worried about?

Is there any site were I can see them? just to have an idea.

They are on the side of our own website - right below the menu. Also, if you go to the links section you can find a few finished websites with ads on them.
