Website Information
I am looking to create a website for the horror community. The over-all goal of the website is to provide ALL horror websites/forum members with a free public web picture gallery to display their horror memorabilia collections. The software I would be using for the album would run off of a MySQL database.
Once website is established well enough for an opening, a TLD will be bought to give the website a more professional look. The website users will be able to create their own public web photo album, so therefore only THEY can post in that specific album.
The users would also be able to take part in "Image of the week" voting/rating polls, the winner would get the "Spotlight" on the main page for that week.
I have worked up a proposal for well established horror website owners. As a small description of the proposal, I am offering them a chance to "partner" and encourage their members to display what they have. In return their banner goes on the "Partners" page, so this is a sure fire shot to bring more vistor to their website as well. -- I know two websites that would be interested at the moment.
In Return for the Web Host
A flash banner placed on every page. I intend for this to be a fairly large website so therefore a flash banner would catch the vistors attention better and could possibly lead more customers to the company that offers web hosting.
Not only that, the website will come off as "Presented By: Your hosting company" on the main banner, just to help show support for the company giving the hosting.
