Average Bandwidth Usage?

In an effort to help other would-be free hosters, anyone care to share what their average bandwidth usage is per X number of customers?

Different free providers are going to have different amounts of bandwidth usage depending on what they offer.

Your best bet when it comes to keeping bandwidth costs under control if you're doing mass free webhosting is a 20mbit unmetered server from Servermatrix.com. ;)

So many of the users never use any (much bandwidth) - so it can stay pretty low when averaged out.

I got less than 20 clients and the range is big. Some hardly used 1GB of bandwidth a month while some used up to 15GB monthly.

I got one freeloader - He used almost 400MB of transfer simply by storing and transferring files for his personal use. Didn't make use of the free web-site at all. Then I found a http proxying script..

Didn't take long for his account to get suspended.
