I like the look. It is very friendly. However, there is way too much information on the homepage.

Yeah. Looks great. I even made a portal using SMF and that same exact template. But I had to stop devolping it since you cant redistribute SMF's SSI file. And I dont know how to make a mod to modify the SSI File. Anyways... You should edit the SSI.php file to better suit your needs and you should as said there is to much information and you should dull it down a bit
