I've always wanted to start an internet cafe. However, lots of money can be a loss that I just don't have.
So I was wondering what other people thought of the idea. There is no internet cafe in my city, but there are libraries, a university, and schools that have fast connection speeds, so competition against free providers.
I'm not quite sure where this post is going to go. Basicly I wanted people's ideas on if it was worth spending several thousand dollars on something that might crash.
I would like the offer the following things for the internet cafe:
+ Internet Access on a T1 line (Or higher than a T1 line).
+ Free beverages if you pay for x amount of minutes on the computers.
+ DVD/CD viewing and burning.
+ Many expensive programs such as lates versions of Flash, Adobe Photoshop, etc...
+ Many games to play, including games you have to pay for each month like Final Fantasy XI.
+ LAN Party room.
+ Cheap paid web hosting, and maybe free hosting on the "crappy" computers I have laying around.
+ Computer OS's inlcude: Windows XP, Mac OS X Panther, Linux - several different distro's.
+ Special computer software such as PearPC, and software that allows you to use linux from linux, and windows live (without rebooting).
Do you think this would be a success, or a failure? Do you think people would be interested in it?
Thanks in advance for your comments and suggestions.
