FreeWebHostingTalk - the banners

Hi Guys,

After one long discussion on how we can become more popular, and its still going, we came up with the idea of creating some banners that you guys and gals could place on your websites linking back to us, whether you post here, found hosting here or run a free webhosting company, we would be very greatful if you place one on your site.

Thats great, going to add one to your site :) Originally he sent them to me with a large amount of dark blue, he edited them without me asking though they look much better now than the others he sent me.

It's actually smaller now. :-/ It's a real shame iNet did not do a good job of keeping it active.

I guess there are less registered users active here now than before, but the traffic is still stable; at least Alexa.com's graphs say so.

Was wondering, how about a small exchange kind of system, for every, say 5000 page views of the advert you get a 1 week sticky?

I just removed the banners from my site(s). I no longer agree with the way FreeWHT is being run. I am not sure what your deal is, uploadpic, but you are just like the other iNet guys. I will be spending my time elsewhere, and have no more interest in helping to build this place up or in seeing it succeed.

A couple of recent actions by uploadpic. Yesterday (and about a week ago) he completely deleted two threads, citing rule-breaking, when there were no rules being broken. iyeru42 was aware of one of these instances. The other instance involved a request for free hosting that I and a few others responded to - it turns out that if the request is posted in the wrong category, you cannot respond to it. :confused: That is the dumbest thing I've ever heard of.

Anyway, he's got a bad attitude, and he was the last "person in power" who cared about this place. If he no longer has a positive attitude about it, I see no reason to stick around.

Sorry you feel like, that I have been trying help out, and get this site a little more popular, although the post in the free hosting forum you're referring too, I was a little annoyed at the time, seeing as I have put a nice sticky at the top. I'll move it, although I left it there as an example. I guess, its probably not very inviting there.

Applogies about closing that thread, although its something I read in the mod area, didn't get updated into the rules. If you want I'll open it back up.
