Default Starting Out..
Hey,

Im starting out and I have a few questions if anyone here can take the time to answer them it would help out alot thanks

First of all im starting out small 2GB Space 20GB Bandwith (I know really small..) its a reseller with a really reliable company for about 10USD a month. Now how would I go about earning profit to keep the server and other servers in the future alive? Google Adsense is a waste as they terminate you for the smallest Terms and Conditions violation they can find..

Secon question is Im using a legal ClientExec licence with Cpanel/WHM is that good to use instant setup or should I manually setup the accounts? and what kind of support should I offer like live support or message boards.

Also how would I make it automaticaly display the ads on their site?

Thanks
Lewis

Hello,
Well with that much space/bandwidth you do NOT want to go with auto account setup. You'll oversell very fast and that wouldn't be good. I currently use googleadsense and they havent found anything wrong with my account, maybe I'm just lucky. The only way I have found to automatically put ads on users accounts is thru XPanel.com or mod_layout.

Some other ad companies:

http://www.allclicks.com

Hello,
In your case that might actually work. But still where would your money come from? Even if you get a lot of users it doesnt mean they'll automatically click on the ads. Plus if your making them post on the forums you have to give them really good service and good deals otherwise they'll just go to another hosting company that doesnt make you post.

So perhaps someone could tell me once and for all: Does client exec support automatic account creation? - When I last tried to use it I couldn't find anything that suggested it did but according to the thread starter it might?

Usually if you get a lot of users, you will be some money with whatever pay-per-click company you go with. My suggestion is do not only use one source of income. I had ads making a pretty big chunk (About 65%) of my income, and when they terminated my adsense account (For whatever reason), I was left in a very bad situation. So always make sure you have a few sources of income so if something happens to one of them, you have a month to find out how to fix it.

I find that with the post to host type of systems, you get less of the hand holding clients. If you make people post, you will only get people that really want to get hosting, and should have an idea of what to do.
