As I have said before, there are other mods (6, in fact) who aren't even around.

With so many Byethost re-sellers, maybe we could have a category just for them:

If your caught posting your Byethost outside of that forums category, you stand a warning "notice" from the mods. 3 warnings and your account is banned.

No, because that would make FreeWHT like every other forum out there. One of the things people like about FreeWHT is that it does not have very strict rules.

Don't really care too much. It's a bit if a pain in the --- though when one scans through the free hosting and see's an announcement for "FREE hosting!" or something that looks promising, then clicks on the poster's post, and damn if it isn't another Byethost or **********, etc. deal. It just wastes the hostee's time a little. IMHO...:popcorn:

So how is that different from free hosting services that have all of their own equipment and offer the exact same specs? ;)

See, while these hosts may use Byethost's technology, they are all very different - both from one another, and from other free hosts in general. We provide our own customer service, and manage customer accounts ourselves. When you have many thousands of accounts (like my hosting services do) this can be very tedious work. You must devote a lot of time and energy to it. There is no substitute for good customer service, and that is why these hosts truly are unique. So what if they all have similar plan specs? So do tons of cPanel hosts. :D So you see, the true differentiator is customer support, and because the support of each of these hosts could be so different, it is not fair to group them all into one category.

Good point, customer service is 'key' and hostee's (is that a word) should also investigate service uptime before committing their time.
