You can go ahead and test that out if you like =p I'll stick to whois.cart and DirectAdmin myself.

How did you get it free?
This was designed for people with shared accounts and no WHM etc.
I was pissed off at other free CPs like EasyHost Free that came with no file editor, so I made my own. Its really easy to intergrate into a sites existing design. If anyone wants me to do that for them, email me at amfr@comcast.net

DA was provided to me free by my datacenter, even if you had to purchase it most places will give you a license for $10/mo more. I do not mean to insult your software, but it really just is not tested enough for me. I don't want to be the person that own the machine the first hole is discovered on =/

Also you require register_globals which is a big no no IMHO, especially on free webhosting.

Also if a person is using shared hosting to host other people, how are they going to do anything like force ads, allow subdomains, etc...

I appreciate and respect the effort you put into this, but its just not something I see working for the free hosting industry.

I have a couple solutions that I am still testing:

-Using .htaccess to force ads
-Putting $_REQUEST around form variable (no register_globals)
-Use wildcard DNS for subdomains

You must have the directory that you want user account created in CHMODDED to 777 (e.g. I have my public_html directory CHMODDED to 777)

You aren't supposed to use the scripts in the cpcopy directory, those are just for copying into the users' admin directory. (config.php is created on the fly by signup.php)
