Please allow me to introduce myself.
My name is simple guy and I am the lead developer on the Simple Host Manager script from xphpx.net
The XphpX Simple Host Manager is a billing/server management utility. It is a basic form of modernbill/clientexec and will continue to grow. It allows you to create plans and map templates to them.
When a user signups up and is Approved by an Administrator, that template is sent to them and the variables such as [username] are replaced with their username.
It also supports multiple servers, the idea behind this is for large hosting companies or resellers, all you need to do is set the old server as inactive and the new one as active so all signups are setup on that server. The old servers that you have in your billing system are still used for older accounts and this allows for you to delete/suspend/enable accounts on older servers with no problems.
We added a feature to our script so that IP's can be blocked on the signup page, this is helpful for abusing users who signup multiple times, and there is another option that allows you to add multiple staff member accounts.
Templates and Plans can be easily added with a few small and simple clicks of a mouse. Accounts can be viewed, removed and terminated just as easily.
Another feature that we are proud to introduce in this release is our Mass Emailing utility. The first one is the cache, normally you would need to call the database and then send the emails and if you became a huge host with a large amount of customers, the script might timeout, this is why we introduced the cache, the cache stores all the information waiting to be sent in a database and then when you send the email at the end the script sends the email then removes it from the database, this way if you ever become too big and the page times out or you close the window for some reason, you can pick right back up where you left out with no problems at all.
