Default Free Domain names, .co.cc, .uk.tt, .co.nr?

What does everyone think of these styles of domain name. I don't rate them that well as customers like to use the typical .co.uk, .com, .net etc. but what do you think about them?
and if you like them, what would you say is the best?

i would say a lot of fly by night hosts use these domains so as far as providing services it would take awhile to gain that user trust as opposed to a .com or .net ect domain

Personally, I see nothing wrong with offering one for the users, but, I prefer to use a proper second level domain for my own sites.

it's like the .tk domains, I never liked them. Also it will not bring in the right traffic for you since most people are so used to typing in: domain.com or domain.net or even domain.org that they wont remember to type in domain.co.cc etc.

How many people actually type a complete domain name into an address bar or search engine?

I am willing to bet most people now a days go to their favorite search engine and type in a few key words then they click on a link that matches the description which produced the best search results.

They are perfect for beginner webmasters, but look unprofessional as a company tbh.

I have a .tk, but it wasn't free: I paid for mine! Otherwise it would not have been registered in my name and I wouldn't have control over it.
